The 2024 Nissan Rogue will be the first vehicle from the automaker to feature Google built-in. Available in the SL and Platinum grades, this new infotainment system is displayed on a 12.3-inch HD color touchscreen. It integrates Google apps such as Google Maps and Google Assistant directly into the vehicle's dashboard. Notably, these features can be used without needing to pair or plug in a smartphone.
Design Refresh and Advanced Features
The exterior of the Rogue has been updated with new front and rear fascias, along with a revised version of Nissan's V-motion grille. The interior also receives updates, including new colors and textures for door panels, seats, and dashboard components. Additional technologies such as Amazon Alexa Built-in and Hybrid Radio are available in the Rogue SL and Platinum grades.
The vehicle is scheduled to be available in Canadian dealerships in early 2024. Pricing details have not yet been released. Alongside the Google built-in feature, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available, providing additional options for connectivity. The Rogue S and SV grades come standard with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For charging, the Rogue is the first Nissan model in Canada to feature only USB Type-C ports, which allow for faster device charging. NissanConnect Services has extended its free trial period from six months to three years and is compatible with the enhanced MyNISSAN smartphone app, which allows for remote setting adjustments such as climate control.
Safety features are standard across all grades, with the inclusion of Nissan Safety Shield 360. This suite includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, and other safety technologies. The Rogue SV comes with ProPILOT Assist, while the SL and Platinum grades offer ProPILOT Assist with Navi-Link for more advanced driving assistance.
Under the hood, the 2024 Rogue S trim features a standard 1.5-liter Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) engine. This engine is rated at 201 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle also provides various storage solutions, including a pass-through storage space below the center console and up to 2,098L of cargo space with the second-row seats folded.
With these updates, the 2024 Nissan Rogue aims to offer a comprehensive package of design and technology features in the compact SUV segment.
