2025 Nissan Murano Gets Larger, More Luxurious, and Technologically Advanced

Nissan unveils the fourth-generation Murano, set to arrive in dealerships by early 2025. The 2025 model boasts a sanctuary-like interior, enhanced technologies, and premium design features, marking a significant evolution for the crossover.

Expanded Dimensions and Striking Design

The 2025 Murano's body width increases by over 2.6 inches, complemented by gracefully flared rear fenders. Ultra-thin "Crystal Cube" LED headlights flank a gloss-black trim strip, while a distinctive LED taillight signature spans the entire rear width.

Interior designers have crafted a modern, minimalist space with a horizontal design theme. Dual 12.3-inch displays, wrapped in stitched materials, come standard. The unique Murano Glass dashboard finisher incorporates colour-shift graphics, exemplifying the vehicle's attention to detail.

Advanced Comfort Features

For the first time, the Murano offers massaging front seats and available ventilated seats. The rear seats now feature Nissan's Zero Gravity design, providing more knee room and improved comfort for passengers.

The cargo area offers 931.6 litres of storage with seats up and expands to 1,798 litres when folded down. A power liftgate comes standard, with motion-activation available on the Platinum grade.

Innovative Technology

Higher models feature Google built-in, including Google Maps and Google Assistant. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across all grades. The Bose 10-speaker audio system and Active Sound Cancellation enhance the auditory experience.

Nissan's Safety Shield 360 suite comes standard, with new features like the 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View. ProPILOT Assist is available on the SV grade, while SL and Platinum models offer the enhanced ProPILOT Assist 1.1, which uses navigation data to adjust speed proactively.

Performance Meets Efficiency

Under the hood, the 2025 Murano houses a 2.0-litre VC-Turbo engine, producing 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant pairs with a 9-speed automatic transmission and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. Frequency-sensitive dampers in the suspension aim to improve ride quality.

The new Murano can tow up to 1,500 pounds, adding versatility to its premium features.

Pricing details for the 2025 Nissan Murano will be announced closer to its on-sale date.
