Nissan brings an impressive lineup of custom vehicles to the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, showcasing the modification potential of its latest models. The display features four distinct project builds and an accessory concept, each demonstrating different facets of automotive customization possibilities using the refreshed 2025 Frontier pickup and all-new 2025 Kicks crossover as starting points.
Project Trailgater: The Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment Frontier
The Project Trailgater transforms a 2025 Frontier PRO-4X into an outdoor entertainment hub. Built in collaboration with PowerNation TV's "Music City Trucks," this custom pickup combines off-road capability with outdoor leisure features. The truck incorporates NISMO Off Road accessories, including a performance-focused suspension lift kit and 17-inch beadlock capable wheels. The build goes beyond traditional modifications by adding two 43-inch weatherproof TVs, powered coolers, and outdoor cooking equipment, making it the perfect vehicle for both trail running and outdoor gatherings.
Frontier TARMAC: Street Performance Meets Pickup
The Frontier TARMAC concept delivers a bold interpretation of street truck performance. Finished in Afterburn Orange paint, this collaboration between Nissan Motorsports, Nissan Design America, and Forsberg Racing pushes the boundaries of pickup performance. The truck generates over 400 horsepower through its supercharged 3.8-litre V6 engine, complemented by a prototype NISMO cold air intake and custom exhaust system. Carbon fiber components feature throughout the build, while performance upgrades include a high-performance brake system with 15-inch floating rotors and NISMO TARMAC 20-inch wheels.
Two Custom Kicks Concepts Demonstrate Versatility
Nissan presents two distinct visions for the all-new 2025 Kicks crossover. The Beach Patrol concept enhances the Kicks' adventure-ready capabilities with a custom suspension lift and 18-inch NISMO Off Road Ascend wheels wrapped in Yokohama GEOLANDAR tires. The concept adds practical features for beach activities, including a shower kit and coolers. In contrast, the Urban Shadow concept embraces street tuner culture with prototype NISMO parts, including 18-inch LM-RS6 wheels, custom coilover suspension for a lowered stance, and a NISMO cat-back exhaust system.
Z Legend Package Honors Sports Car Heritage
The Z Legend accessory package concept pays tribute to Z car heritage, drawing inspiration from the 2024 Z Heritage Edition. This package combines vintage-inspired wheels with modern carbon fibre components, including a rear spoiler and over-fenders. The concept features thoughtful details throughout, including a special C-pillar emblem displaying seven gears to represent the seven generations of the Nissan Z.
These project vehicles demonstrate the extensive customization possibilities available across Nissan's vehicle lineup. From off-road capability to street performance and lifestyle modifications, each build showcases how owners can personalize their vehicles to match their interests and needs.
